What are the wonderful Spring Festival customs?

It is forbidden to talk about hair during the Chinese New Year.

I have heard of "shaving my head and dying in the first month" since I was a child. Whether this is superstition or misinformation, everyone still hopes that their families will have a safe Spring Festival. What are you cutting? You look poor! Hair won't grow much in a month, or it will die if you don't do it! You can't cut your hair unless you are an uncle!
