What articles can be selected for poetry reading that promotes Chinese traditional virtues?

I was deeply touched by the short story of Chinese traditional virtues.

For example, I read Kong Rong Qinli. Kong Rong gave the big pear to his younger brother and the small pear to himself. This story tells us one of the traditional virtues of China: think more about others and less about yourself.

Another example is reading Sleeping on the Ice for Carp.
