What is a rectangular skylight? What are its advantages and disadvantages?

Simply put, a rectangular skylight is to open a window along the longitudinal sides of the span, with moderate illumination. The highest value of daylighting coefficient is in the middle span and the lowest value is in the column. It consists of a skylight frame installed on a roof truss and a skylight fan installed on the skylight frame.

Advantages: uniform light, less direct light,
