The main difference between surrealism.
On the other hand, although surrealism refers to photos in essence, it often makes the depicted theme softer and more complicated, making it look like a vivid object. The objects and scenes in surrealist works are exquisitely depicted, creating a new realistic fantasy, which is not found in the original photos. This is not to say that they are surrealism, because this fantasy is a convincing description of reality. Texture, surface, lighting effect and shadow painting are all clearly displayed, which is more vivid than reference photos or even physical objects.
The philosophy of surrealism is rooted in jean baudrillard's theory that "what is simulated will never exist in reality". A simulation of something that doesn't exist. So surrealism creates a false reality, a convincing fantasy and a simulation based on reality. Surrealism painting and sculpture are by-products of super-high resolution photos taken by digital cameras displayed on computers. Just as photographic realism imitates analog photography, surrealism uses digital photos and expands them to create a new sense of reality. Surrealist paintings and sculptures give viewers the illusion of high-definition images, but they are more detailed than images.
