Expanded Information
History of development of the Xianbei people: The Xianbei people are the ancient nomadic people who rose in the Mongolian Plateau after the Xiongnu, belonging to the Mongolian language family of the Altaic language family, and rose in the Daxing'an Mountains. For the Wei Jin and North and South Dynasties of China's most influential nomadic people, originated in the East Hu, distributed in northern China.
During the Qin and Han Dynasties, the Eastern Hu were defeated by the Xiongnu Boldon monarch and divided into two parts. They retreated to the Wuhuan Mountain and Xianbei Mountain respectively, and both of them took the names of the mountains as their clan names, forming the Wuhuan and Xianbei clans, which were enslaved by the Xiongnu. Therefore, the customs of the Xianbei tribe were similar to those of the Wuhuan and Xiongnu.
History of development of the Korean people: The Xianbei are one of the cross-border ethnic groups in China that have been gradually formed by migrating from the neighboring Korean Peninsula and settling in the northeastern part of the country.
In the 1982 national census, it was found that as early as the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, a part of the ancestors of the Korean people had settled in the territory of North China and Northeast China. For example, the Koreans surnamed Park in Tagou, Qinglong County, Hebei Province, and Parkjiagou Village, Gai County, Liaoning Province, have been settling in the area for more than 300 years.
