Li Suping's main academic viewpoints

(1) From the 1980s, based on the study of China's philosophy, the comparative study of Chinese and Japanese traditional cultures began. By the 1990s, the comparative study of Chinese and Japanese traditional cultures was extended to China, Japan and South Korea. In the study of comparative philosophy in East Asia (China, China, Japan and South Korea), my basic view is that the connotations and characteristics of East Asian traditional culture, Japanese traditional culture and Korean traditional culture are different, and they are diversified, which cannot be regarded as the transplantation and extension of China traditional culture.

(2) Through the study of comparative philosophy in East Asia, I put forward the concept of "East Asia consciousness" with Professor Zhang Liwen of Renmin University of China. "East Asian consciousness" refers to an inherent consciousness in East Asia dominated by China, Japan and South Korea and centered on Confucianism. "East Asian consciousness" includes subjective consciousness, reflective consciousness, pragmatic consciousness and pluralistic consciousness.

(3) In the study of the traditional culture of China, Japan and South Korea, new viewpoints different from those popular in academic circles are put forward. Such as: 1, Snow Along the River. This is the title of China Zhu Shunshui's View of Learning. He was a beginner in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties and later died in Japan. Through the study of Zhu Shunshui's practical philosophy, the concept of "learning with the water" was put forward for the first time. 2. Shimen Heart Sutra. This is a revision of the concept of "Shimen Mind" in Japan. Japanese academic circles call the mind school headed by Meiyan Ishida "Shimen Mind School". Through the study of Meiyan Ishida's philosophy, it is considered that he talks about both "mind" and "sex", and that "mind and sex" are equally important, while Meiyan's later research also talks about both "mind" and "sex". Therefore, the definition of "Shimen mind" is put forward. 3. "Xue" This is a general term for Zheng's academic thought, a representative figure of Yangming studies in North Korea. Korean academic circles only say that Zheng is an important development stage of Yangming studies in South Korea, and they have dismembered his Yangming studies. I put forward the basic categories of "Qi", "Physiology" and "Living Tao" with the characteristics of Korean Yangming studies, which constitute a complete "Gu Xia studies".
