Types of Thai National Dance
Wedding dance: mainly performing wedding customs.
Peasant Dance: It mainly shows the activities of women transplanting rice seedlings in the fields.
Harvest Dance: Celebrating the bumper harvest.
Candle dance: popular in northern Thailand, it is usually performed at welcoming state guests and major holiday parties. The actors are all girls, holding candles. During the performance, the stage was dimly lit, and the girls formed various patterns by candlelight in the dark.
Blessing dance: generally, after banquets and get-togethers, dance with guests. During the performance, men and women performed in pairs, swinging their arms and dancing lightly.
