How to write the goal of mathematics education in kindergarten middle class

China's national documents on early childhood education do not stipulate the curriculum objectives of mathematics.

After the founding of New China, the policy documents on kindergarten mathematics education issued from 1952 to 198 1 all take "calculation" as an independent subject, and describe the curriculum content and requirements of all ages in detail. Mathematics education occupies its own independent position in the kindergarten education system. However, 1996 "Regulations" began to weaken the boundaries of disciplines, put forward the content of comprehensive organization in various fields, and did not put forward the task requirements of discipline teaching. 1999 the new syllabus divides the educational content into five major areas according to children's lives, among which "mathematics" is merged into "science". In comparison, the new syllabus only requires children to "feel the quantitative relationship of things from life and games" and "construct a preliminary concept of numbers". The result of "feeling" and "construction" is probably just a vague understanding and experience, far from abstract mathematical knowledge. It can be seen that the expression of the new Outline weakens the requirements for mastering specific knowledge. The most obvious difference between the new "Outline" and the previous policies is that kindergarten mathematics education is named after "mathematics", while the previous policies are named after "calculation". The word "calculation" virtually conveys a message to people that kindergarten mathematics is addition and subtraction calculation, which reflects people's narrow understanding of kindergarten mathematics education at that time. Therefore, the new "Outline" named "Mathematics" can better reflect the rich content of kindergarten mathematics education. Secondly, the new syllabus highlights the connection between mathematics and other fields and life, and points out that children should be guided to feel "the phenomena of number, quantity, shape, time and space in the surrounding environment". Mathematics is no longer an abstract logical knowledge system, but something that needs abstraction throughout children's lives and games. This makes children's mathematics have a richer realistic source and concrete connotation.

Based on the above background, the goal of middle class mathematics curriculum is to guide children to feel the numbers within 10 in the surrounding environment, simple plane and three-dimensional graphics, initially establish the concept of time, and learn to know clocks and watches.
