About "Plains Monsoon - Twenty-four Seasons Series"

From the summer vacation of 2011, to be exact, from July 22nd, the day of the great summer heat, I put pen to paper to write the first of a series of essays on the twenty-four seasons. Since then, it has been a long and difficult creative journey. On July 7, 2012, I finally finished my essay on the Little Summer Festival. It seems, but only a year's time, together with 24 articles, the total word count is less than 20,000 words, compared to those long novels can be called "insignificant", really can not be called a masterpiece. However, I personally feel that these 24 essays are "a masterpiece" that I value. Why do I say so? The main reason is that this series of essays is the result of my "initiative".

? I grew up more like literature writing, but the original focus of interest is mainly in classical poetry and ancient literature. My literary path began with the writing of classical poetry, and a few years down the road, I think there are a few decent works, although the impact is not great, and never published in national publications, but after all, I gradually fell in love with the poetry writing. As for the ancient writing, from April 2008 to write a reflective hometown of the subject "Wuqiang Fugue" in the "Hengshui Evening News". To be honest, this piece of fu is not strictly ancient literature, but after all, it triggered a stage of my passion for writing ancient literature. Later, in the process of language teaching, imitating Tao Yuanming's "Mr. Willow Biography" wrote a personal biography "Yide Jushi Biography", in the spring of 2010 to the Peach Blossom Garden in Shenzhou after playing written "Peach Blossom Garden", in 2010, the Civilization Office of Hebei Province, organized the "City Fugue Collection" activities, one of my "Hengshui Fugue" won the third prize of the essay! In 2010, I wrote a "Hengshui Fugue" in the "City Fugue Collection" organized by the Civilization Office of Hebei Province, which won the third prize in the essay competition. Especially that "Hengshui Fugue", due to a very fortuitous chance on the "Hebei Daily", so that I have a little fame in the local. I had a period of time to drift can not pull themselves out, so that a long time of dry thinking, can not write a new work.

?Starting in the spring of 2011, I was determined to try my hand at modern prose, so I wrote a few prose pieces. First wrote "small courtyard jujube flowers", and later wrote "autumn to jujube red circle", these two were published in the month of Hengshui Evening News. August, after careful polishing, I wrote the "Lotus Pond Rain Rhythm", and later published in the "Hengshui Daily" and the Hebei Prose Society Journal "Prose Wind", this one is I think I'm satisfied with the masterpiece. With these three essays, I was fortunate to be recommended by my friends to join the Hebei Provincial Prose Society.

?2012 is the first year that I joined the Prose Society, and it is also the year that I have grown and improved a lot (self-perception). This year I had the honor of participating in several province-wide essay contests, thanks to the jury's love, I personally feel that the results are not bad. In the Spring Festival held before and after the "warmth of the year" essay, won the excellent prize; in May, the "Henghu flow rhyme" essay, my "Hengshui Fu" won the second prize; in June, the Dragon Boat Festival essay activities, my "Yanzhao Dragon Boat Festival" won the second prize.

Although there are occasional awards, but I always feel as a prose writer, the lack of masterpieces, can not be called prose writer. So in July last year began to plan to create the plains monsoon - twenty-four seasons series" prose. In the practice of writing, I tried to stand in the natural point of view, showing the close relationship between each of the twenty-four seasons and nature, and then on this premise to show the activities of people, so as to show the inseparable relationship between man and nature, man and plants and animals.

Twenty-four written down, think back to as long as a year of "creation" process, indeed, for nature has a more profound understanding and perception, perhaps this is my writing this series of essays the biggest gain. Because it is not a work of the moment, it is inevitable that there will be thoughts and content of the articulation between the pieces is not smooth, but also because of how it is more reflective of the value of this work (let's say you can be so elevated). In each piece of writing, I try to seize the most representative of each festival to show the characteristics of the festival, in the strict control of the word count, each not more than 800 words, try to shorten the length, compressed language, write concise. At the same time, in the formulation of the title, try to be as vivid as possible, a bit off the beaten track. I don't know whether this idea has been implemented, it is necessary to read these articles critics to comment on it.

? Like an antique that has been treasured in the house for many years, today I finally decided to take it out for an exhibition, not knowing what kind of comments I would get. Starting from the beginning of spring, each festival will be published one, and at the same time specially invited beautiful colleagues "Xiaolai rain" recitation to promote, I hope to be able to get everyone's attention and love. No matter what, it's the work of my heart and soul for a year. Sincerely hope that those who see it will give some valuable advice.
