Narrative Essay on Visiting the First Village of Jinshi

On the first weekend of summer vacation, my mom and I went to the first village of Jinshi in China, Walking Horse Pond.

Before we left, I thought Walking Horse Pond meant walking on the road candy. It was only after getting on the bus that I realized it was Walking Horse Pond.

Walking into the village, the first to greet us is a very large lotus pond, the road signs point to the lotus pond, but I did not see a lotus, how to call the lotus pond? I asked my mom curiously. Mom said, "You look more carefully." I opened my eyes to find, sure enough, the center of the pond to hide a white lotus, too beautiful!

We continued to walk forward to the village's old street, lined with old wooden houses, where live almost all the old people, and some children, guarding these old homes. The ground was a stone path, and occasionally a few chickens, dogs, and cats were sleeping and looking for food, and worms hanging from the trees suddenly dropped down and became the chickens` delicacies. The bugs even landed on mom`s shoulders and wanted to walk with us.

Walking, I felt tired, so I rested for a while at the fitness place of the village. At the entrance to the village, I saw a very large wall, introducing the history and characteristics of the village, the villagers are almost all surnamed Chen, from ancient times to the present, out of a lot of scholars.
