High-rise buildings are basically designed according to steel structure engineering, and the cast-in-place slab is very heavy, which will cause uneven settlement of foundation and cracking of houses, which is not allowed. For steel-wood structures, channel steel is usually enough, but the bending strength of I-beams will be higher and the cost will be higher, but it is recommended to use channel steel.
