Twenty-nine sets of excellent works of the professional group, six sets of commissioned works of professional organizations and 50 sets of works of the youth group with the theme of "Twenty-four Seasons" were displayed here.
People from the United Nations and New York City attended the event. They believed that these creative works were an exquisite interpretation of the 24 Solar Terms, and that they reflected the highly developed agricultural civilization, diligence and wisdom of the working people in China's history, which was admirable.
Tamamian Kegham, a senior Arabic interpreter at the United Nations, said: "China has made great contributions to mankind in the fields of mathematics, physics and astronomy. The '24 Solar Terms' are the crystallization of the ancient Chinese working people's observation, exploration, research and summarization of astronomy, meteorology and agriculture, and are the precipitation of the long culture and history of the Chinese nation."

Li Congrong, vice president of Hopewell, said the "24 Solar Terms" was officially inscribed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in November 2016, and like other outstanding traditional Chinese cultures, it is an important part of other countries' understanding of Chinese culture. Like other outstanding traditional Chinese cultures, the "24 Solar Terms" is a key for other countries to understand Chinese civilization.
At the event, the winner of the first prize in the "24 Solar Terms" logo system design category, Jian Shan, presented the original manuscript of the winning work to the United Nations, in the hope that the "24 Solar Terms", a symbol of traditional Chinese culture, will be preserved permanently at the United Nations.
