The black and white lion dance represents Zhang Fei, representing bravery and domineering.
The colors of lion dance in Guangzhou are mostly yellow, red, black and white, and each color has a different meaning: yellow is called Liu Beishi (Liu Bei was once the emperor), symbolizing benevolence and royal extravagance; Red is called Guan Gong Lion (Guan Gong is considered as "Wu Caishen" by China), which symbolizes loyalty, wealth and victory. The black and white lion awakening is called Zhang Shifei (Zhang Fei is very brave and aggressive personally), which symbolizes courage and domineering.
