For children growing up in the south is always full of snow and ice fantasies, this is our deepest an unfinished complex.

As I have been living in South China for a long time, I have fewer real physical sensations of the freezing cold and snowflakes in winter. So, I will consciously create such an experience for myself to make up for the regret. In recent years, in January-February, I always fly to the northeast, famous mountains, southwest to see the winter snow.

If you ask where the winter scenery is the most stunning, my favorite is Hokkaido, Japan.

In February 2018, I embarked on a 10-day journey to Hokkaido with my girlfriends. Really go to see the famous Japanese writer Yasunari Kawabata "snow country" written under the pen of that silent and cold, ethereal aesthetic, quiet and distant "snow country style".

Hokkaido is located in the northernmost part of Japan, is the second largest island in Japan, the administrative capital city of Sapporo as the center of radiation Otaru, Asahikawa, Hakodate and other cities. Its snowy scenery is world-famous, and every winter tourists from Japan and even the whole world come to Hokkaido for the snow festival, ice sculpture and other events in early February every year.

After almost 4 years, I recall the beauty of that snow scene, lies in the sense of literature.

There is also a natural snow scene in the north of China, but Hokkaido's snow scene is better in the "aesthetic arts and culture", just as the traditional Japanese culture shows the kind of complexity, sophistication, elegance, and nothingness.

10 days of journey to see countless scenes, the most impressive is a quiet niche attractions - Asahikawa "snow art museum". This is a rare snow-themed art museum. The building of the museum adopts the European medieval modeling, outside the open field there is a thick snow white building, everything is pure white, a variety of snow design hexagonal rotary staircase down the stairs, into the world of snow.

When you come here, as if entering a snowflake-themed pure fairy tale castle, isolated from the outside world. Inside the center of the Grand Theatre, there are seven painters painted 28,000 large oil canvas roof, white stage with candelabras, harps, European-style ceiling floor lamps, grand pianos and so on. At that time also got a simulation of the classic fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast" in the portrait modeling.

Because of the beautiful arrangement, at that time, there were also people who were taking wedding photos on the stage.

When I'm in front of the main stage I can't help but quiet my heart and silently pray that everything in life is well and peaceful.

The Snowflake Museum has snowflakes as the theme of its displays, explanations, and artworks, even its doors and windows. I also visited the first real understanding of the snowflake original not only a shape, subtle to see is very different. I really understand this common phenomenon in nature from the perspective of natural science.

In addition to the Snowflake Art Museum, Otaru is the most representative of Hokkaido's art and culture. Otaru was the setting for the famous Japanese love movie "Love Letter". Since then, many love movies and TV shows have been filmed here. It is also known as the "Capital of White Lovers".

My impression of Otaru is that it was a small harbor town in the old days, with a backdrop of mountains and canals, where glass and music boxes were mainly made by handicrafts, and a wide range of glass products and traditional Japanese handicrafts, such as wind chimes and fortune cats, could be seen everywhere.

At that time, the Otaru Snow Lantern Festival was held. I started my tour from the center of the canal that night. The temperature at night dropped to -10 degrees Celsius, and we wore heavy down jackets and big scarves to cover ourselves up. In spite of the cold weather, the tourists are weaving, the enthusiasm is not reduced at all.

A long street runs from the canal to the end of the street, like a marketplace. Similarly, each stall will have its own unique shape. There are different snow lanterns in the shape of bowls, balls and triangles, and they are usually lit with candles to offer prayers.

I am most impressed by the snow lanterns in the picture below. 12 bowls of lanterns are placed on a cross-shaped shelf, each with a different flower or plant, colorful, small and attractive, and none of them are the same. Candlelight from the inside brings out the floral patterns on the bowls. Under the shroud of night, these snow lanterns took on a beautiful and peaceful appearance.

The most irresistible sport in winter is skiing, as it is swimming in summer.

Hokkaido is home to a number of world-class ski resorts, and my girlfriend and I chose a small one close to downtown Sapporo. I even found this Tateyama ski resort to be full of literary flavor.

It's located under a mountainside with a Ferris wheel-shaped entertainment facility at the top. On both sides of the slope, there are large trees that have lost all their leaves, and the slope is not very steep with an incline angle of about 40 degrees, so it is very open. On the ground floor, a two-story wooden visitor center was built for visitors to rest. Near the visitor center, there is a big snowman with a unique shape.

For the 0 basis of us, instead of coming to ski, we should come to feel the vastness of the ski resort.

I lie on the ski slopes, feel the mountains and the world that the snow-covered, silver-decorated, lonely mountain birds will not be the sense of silence, thoughts of thousands of miles, God traveled.

When leaving in the evening, the night has just started, the street lamps of the visitor center has just been lit, looking back at the hand rice mountain snow field, a charming scene. Immediately use the camera to freeze this scene. My friend said, "This is another photo that can be used as a postcard," and I nodded my head in agreement.

This is what I remember about Hokkaido's beautiful literary snow scene. The snow fairy tale at the Snow Art Museum, the dappled lights at the Otaru Lantern Festival, and the white fantasies that lie across the Tedeyama mountains. A trip to Hokkaido fulfills all the beautiful fantasies of a southern girl on winter snow.

Spring, summer, fall and winter are the four seasons.

Spring has flowers, summer has a cool breeze, fall has a bright moon, winter has snow, this is the gift of nature to us.

May each of us get out of the busy city life, carefully feel the colors of nature, and live up to the gifts that nature gives us every season. The four seasons are all grace to you.
