What material can be used as a gyroscope?

First, find a button with five small eyes. We can easily use it to make a gyro. Find a match, sharpen one end as shown in the figure, and put it on the small eye in the middle of the button to make a gyro.

In fact, the gyro made in this way can rotate at both ends, just like we usually play. You can put down the blunt head of the gyro, hold the rotating shaft with your thumb and forefinger, and then quickly throw the gyro on the table, and the gyro will turn on its own and swing from side to side interestingly.

1. When the gyro is forced to rotate, the sum of centrifugal forces in all directions is balanced, so the gyro can temporarily stand at the shaft end to maintain the balance phenomenon, and then gradually weaken under the action of various factors such as air resistance, ground friction or gyro center of gravity. When the rotating power disappears, the gyro will swing from side to side.

3. An object can be in equilibrium in many cases, not only at rest, but also in motion, including the movement of stars. Some equilibrium states can last, while others are only temporary.
