Author Biography of Six Character Tips on Breathing for Health and Wellness

Ru Kai, graduated from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, has a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation, a Master's Degree in Acupuncture and Tuina, and a Doctor's Degree in Chinese Medicine and Qigong. Currently, he is an associate professor in the teaching and research department of martial arts and health maintenance in Capital Institute of Physical Education, and a master tutor of traditional ethnic sports and health maintenance. He is also a visiting scholar of Oriental Philosophy at Renmin University of China, a director of the World Medical Qigong Society, and a director of the Chinese Medical Qigong Society. He has practiced and researched the traditional Yi Jin and Marrow Cleansing Kungfu for many years, and is the heir to the Shaolin Eight-Duan Brocade and Yi Jin Jing, as well as one of the persons in charge of the declaration of Beijing's intangible cultural heritage program of Wushu, "Zhang San Kungfu". He is also one of the creators of the "Six Character Record of Fitness Qigong" of the State General Administration of Sports, a national social sports instructor of fitness qigong, and a national referee.

You Xingxue, Associate Professor, Master of Ethnic Traditional Physical Education, Capital Institute of Physical Education, specializing in Fitness Qigong, Wushu and Health Maintenance, and specializing in Taijiquan and Changquan, is now engaged in the teaching of Wushu in the Department of Physical Education of Hebei Polytechnic University, and is mainly engaged in teaching and researching on Wushu, Chinese medicine culture, Chinese medicine Qigong and Fitness Qigong.
