When he was about to become a monk, his wife became pregnant again (and later gave birth to a son). It is not natural to become a monk at this time, but his heart for Buddha is sincere and urgent, so he made a heart to build a scholar forest. Naturally, the scale was very small at first, and then the four of them were gradually moved by his sincere heart, and the scale of the forest of scholars became larger and larger.
It was raining cats and dogs the second time, and I did some work during the break. A rough observation shows that there are no fewer than two or three thousand people participating in Buddhism, and the grand occasion of good weather can be imagined. I think Tan has the style of Rilian, the founder of Rilian School, a major sect of Japanese Buddhism.
Generally speaking, Buddhist services in temples require the victim to pay a certain amount of money, and monks and nuns will sing extraordinary scriptures. Most of the victims are not proficient, do not know what the masters are singing or know very little. Dabei Temple didn't ask anyone for money. Whether to give it or not is up to the victim.
More importantly, everyone who practices Buddhism issues a book "Ode to the Three-hour Class of Zhongfeng" (the name is not accurate), and the monks lead everyone to sing sentence by sentence. Of course, some frequent visitors will gradually deepen their Buddhist attainments and religious identity, so I think Tan has the temperament of an educator.
Among the three Buddhist events, Nan Wu sang Amitabha very slowly. It feels like climbing a mountain. At first, it was a slow and flat slope, which was easy to walk. Gradually become Amitabha, the rhythm will become faster, as if the slope is getting steeper and steeper, and the road is more difficult to walk; Read Amitabha many times in one breath. The specific singing method is to read the third sound for the first A word and the fourth sound for the rest A words. From a close distance, it looks like a steep slope that goes straight up and down. The people above pull hard, and the people below push hard to help the people in the middle get on together.
From a distance, singing like this is like a sharp arrow soaring into the sky, rising rapidly and crossing many realms at once, until everyone is tired and hoarse and there is nothing to sing. When there is nothing to sing, the rhythm suddenly slows down. There is a gentle Amitabha in the south, which has been read many times, just like climbing a mountain to the top.

Dabei Temple's story: It is said that when the Tang King led his troops to the East, he played chess with Xue, the minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at the top of this mountain. There is a magical stone chessboard on the mountain. Chess pieces can move back and forth on the board, but they cannot be taken away. There is a flat land on the top of the mountain, which is called the "boot-off roof", which is formed by the soil shaken off by the Tang King when he took off his boots. There are also stone pots and horseshoe prints left by the Tang king on the mountain. Later, people called this mountain "Tangwangshan", which has been passed down to this day. In recent decades, due to people quarrying and mining here, these relics on the mountain no longer exist.
On Huang San Mountain in the south of the Tang Dynasty, there was an ancient temple, Dabei Temple in the Tang Dynasty. According to legend, Li Shimin, the king of the Tang Dynasty, came to the Tang King during the crusade. One day, in his sleep, the king of Tang dreamed that Guanyin, the master of the South China Sea, touched him and said that the king of Tang was in trouble ... because the bodhisattva rescued him, the king of Tang escaped from danger. After the Tang King returned to the DPRK, he ordered the temple to be rebuilt. The Great Hall of Compassion in the Tang Dynasty was built from this.
