Development history

1953 the radar specialty and director specialty set up by the military engineering college of China people's liberation army are the predecessors of electronic information engineering specialty.

1985, radar major was adjusted to electronic engineering major, and director major was adjusted to system engineering major.

1996, system engineering was adjusted to information engineering specialty.
