How to write Liqiu in traditional Chinese characters

The traditional Chinese character for Liqiu is Liqiu.

Liqiu (立秋), the thirteenth of the twenty-four solar terms, is also the beginning of autumn. Dou refers to the southwest, the sun reaches 135 ° of yellow longitude, in the annual calendar August 7 or 8 to cross the festival. The word "Li" means "beginning", and the word "Autumn" means the ripening of the grain. Changes in the entire natural world are gradual processes, and the establishment of autumn is a turning point in the gradual closing of yang and the gradual growth of yin, a gradual change from yangheng to yinheng.

In nature, everything begins to mature from luxuriant growth. Autumn is the third hottest of the twenty-four solar terms after the summer heat. In the order of arrangement of the solar terms, the first heat comes after the first fall, and the second solar term of the fall, the first heat (the last summer), comes out of the summer. Twenty-four solar terms have three summer heat (small summer, big summer, the first summer).

The three summer seasons are interspersed with the Autumn Festival, which is followed by the final summer. The three summers and the three volts both represent hot weather, and the three volts involve the four solar terms of Xiaoshu, Daoshu, Liqiu, and Shiushu. Among the 24 solar terms, the summer days are longer.

Autumn means that precipitation, humidity, etc., is at a turning point in the year, tending to decrease or fall. Starting from the beginning of autumn, yang qi gradually collects, and all things are inwardly convergent. Autumn and spring, summer, winter and known as the four Li, is also one of the ancient four times and eight sections. Autumn is the season of grain ripening and harvesting. In ancient times, there were folk customs of sacrificing to the land god and celebrating the harvest. There are also customs such as applying autumn fat and biting autumn.

Weather Changes

Autumn does not mean the end of the hot weather, there is still a summer heat season after autumn. Autumn is still in the heat, not yet out of the summer, the second season in the fall (heat) before the summer, the weather during the early fall is still very hot. As the so-called heat in the three volts, according to the three volts projection method, the fall to the summer is often still in the three volts period.

The three volts involves four seasons: summer and autumn, and summer. In July and August, the subtropical high pressure is strong and controls most of eastern China. Under the control of the subtropical high pressure, the weather is hot and sunny, so the three-volt day is a very hot day, so it is also the hottest period of the year.
