What are the combustion modes of boilers?

1. Layered combustion furnace A boiler that distributes solid fuel on a grate with a certain thickness for combustion is called layered combustion or furnace combustion boiler.

2. Combustion chamber The fuel of the combustion furnace is sprayed into the furnace with air in the form of powder, mist or gas, and is used for boiler combustion in suspension.

3. The fuel and air of the cyclone furnace rotate at high speed in the high-temperature cyclone cylinder, and some fuel particles are thrown to the liquid slag film on the cylinder wall for combustion.

4. Boiling furnace fuel is fluidized on the fluidized bed under the action of proper air velocity, which is also called boiling combustion furnace. In order to improve combustion efficiency and reduce pollution, modern fluidized bed boiler collects solid particles in flue gas at the outlet of the furnace and sends them back to the furnace to continue combustion, so it is also called circulating fluidized bed combustion boiler.
