The traditional annual festival of Thailand is Songkran.
Songkran, also called Songkran, is one of Thailand's traditional annual festivals. This festival usually takes place around mid-April and lasts for three days. Songkran originated in a kingdom in the north of Thailand and has since evolved into a grand celebration throughout the country. Songkran attracts a large number of tourists to visit, and people will celebrate the festival by splashing and dunking water on the streets to symbolize prayers for happiness and cleanliness.
During Songkran, Thais also go to temples to pray, put scented powder on Buddha statues, and hold parades and other activities.
