Why should we respect traditional culture?

We should absorb the essence of traditional culture, not the dross. In Confucianism, Confucius is the dross and Mencius is the essence.

Rulers absolutely dare not mention Mencius. Because there is a saying: the people are precious, the country is second, and the monarch is light.

In the era when feudal lords and powerful powers ruled and a hundred schools of thought contended, Confucius was rubbish.

Looking at Confucius' 3,000 disciples, nothing has been achieved. A mouse is always a mouse.

Look at Guiguzi's disciples and all kinds of situations. A lion is always a lion.
