The role of automotive wiring harness
1. Automotive wires, also called low-voltage wires, are different from ordinary household wires. Ordinary household wires are copper single-core wires with a certain degree of hardness. Car wires are copper multi-core soft wires, some as thin as a hair, several or even dozens of soft copper wires wrapped in plastic insulation tube, soft but not easy to break.
2. With the increase of automobile functions and the wide application of electronic control technology, more and more electrical parts, more and more wires, wiring harnesses are getting thicker and heavier. So premium cars have introduced CAN bus configuration, using a multiplexed transmission system. Compared to traditional wiring harnesses, multiplexers greatly reduce the number of wires and connectors, making wiring easier.
