Chronology is a genre of traditional Chinese history book, so what is the first Chinese chronicle history book

The first Chinese chronicle is the Spring and Autumn Annals.

"Spring and Autumn", China's earliest surviving chronicle of history, according to legend, Confucius based on the "Spring and Autumn" compiled by the historian of the State of Lu to organize and revise; "Zuo Zhuan", China's first more complete chronicle of history, formerly known as the "Zuo Chunqiu," according to legend, for the end of the Spring and Autumn period of the Zuo Qiu Ming for the interpretation of Confucius's "Spring and Autumn," called the Spring and Autumn Zuo's Biographies, referred to as the "Spring and Autumn".

The Chunqiu records the history of the state of Lu from 722 B.C. (the first year of the reign of Duke Yin of Lu) to 481 B.C. (the 14th year of the reign of Duke Ai of Lu), which included 12 kings and totaled 242 years. Although it is a part of the history of the state of Lu, it also gives an extensive account of other states other than Lu, as well as the evolution of the general situation of the world at that time. For this reason, historians have called this period of more than 200 years the "Spring and Autumn Period" (春秋).

The Spring and Autumn Annals was one of the "Six Classics" compiled by Confucius, which was honored by the Confucian schools as the "Classic", and its interpretation was called the "Chuan". To the Han Dynasty, this biography has been "Zuo's biography", "ram's biography", "Guliang biography", "folder's biography" and "zou's biography" 5 kinds of more, later, "folder's biography" and "zou's biography" anonymous, only "Zuo's biography", "ram's biography" and "Guliang biography", known as the "three biographies of the Spring and Autumn Annals," is that we read the "Spring and Autumn Annals" can be compared with reference.
