Soft Pen Calligraphy for Qingming Festival
The Qingming Festival is a very important traditional festival to honor our ancestors and deceased relatives. On this day, people go to cemeteries and graveyards to pay tribute to their ancestors and deceased relatives, offering them flowers and paper money, thanking them for what they have done for us, and expressing their thoughts about them. On this special holiday, I especially like to use soft brush calligraphy to express my feelings. Soft brush calligraphy is a very flexible art of calligraphy which can express our deepest feelings. On the day of Ching Ming Festival, I usually prepare some red rice paper, soft brush, paint and brush, and then start to write some offerings or thoughts about my deceased relatives.
In one of the offerings I wrote, I expressed my gratitude to my ancestors and my thoughts about my deceased relatives, as well as my expectations and blessings for the future. During the writing process, I felt a great inner peace, as if I were with my ancestors and loved ones. When I finished the piece, I felt very satisfied and touched.
In addition to the rituals, I will also write some blessings and expectations for the future. For example, I will write down my blessings for the prosperity of the motherland, for the health and peace of my family, and for my own growth and progress. These blessings and expectations are not only a motivation and incentive for ourselves, but also a kind of gratitude and commitment to our loved ones and ancestors.
Overall, Qingming Festival is a very profound and touching festival. Expressing our heartfelt gratitude and thoughts through soft brush calligraphy is not only a traditional cultural heritage and promotion, but also a kind of spiritual expression and support. Whether it is on Qingming Festival or on weekdays, we should write with our hearts and express our deepest feelings with our pens.
