What does it mean to shave with a rope?
Shave (one's face)
A marriage custom of the Han nationality, in which the invitation to the wedding is particularly interesting, is held at the groom's house in the evening after giving a banquet to the bride-giver and the guests and friends of the man's house. In some areas, it is held before the bride gets off the sedan chair.
Shaving also refers to shaving the beard and hair on the face, which is one of the traditional services of barber shops. At present, only some old barber shops still maintain the tradition of shaving, and most of them are middle-aged and elderly people.
