Peking Opera, once known as Ping Opera, is one of the five major Chinese opera types [1]. The scene layout focuses on freehand brushwork, the tune is mainly Xipi and Erhuang, and it is accompanied by huqin, gongs and drums. In December 2018, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced that Shenyang Normal University, the Chinese Academy of Opera, and Nankai University are the inheritance bases for the excellent Chinese traditional culture of Peking Opera.
