Rural homestead system

Homestead is a house that rural collective economic organizations allocate to farmers to build in order to protect the lives of collective members. Collective members only have the right to use the homestead and may not buy, sell or rent it. Collective members have ownership of the attachments on the homestead. The rural homestead system stipulates that the transfer of the right to use the homestead must meet the following conditions: (1) The transferor owns two houses; (2) Both parties to the transfer are internal members of the same collective economic organization; (3) The transferee has no housing and the homestead meets the distribution conditions of the right to use the homestead; (four) the collective organization agrees to the transfer; (5) The right to use the homestead shall not be transferred separately, and the land shall be transferred together with the house; (6) After the homestead is sold, the application for homestead will not be approved.
