Su Shizhu (1949.3-) was born in Manchu. I like calligraphy and seal cutting since I was a child. When I was a teenager, I worshipped Mr. Liu Boqin as my teacher. When I was young, I became Mr. Qi Gong's teacher. Engaged in the creation and research of calligraphy and seal cutting, and studied the brick, stone, tablet and rubbings of China in past dynasties. Calligraphy is good at all kinds of styles, good at making seal script, and full of characteristics; The grass is smooth and attractive. Seal cutting belongs to the Qin, French and Han dynasties, and it embodies its own meaning in the ancient style.

As a worker who edits and publishes calligraphy books, Su Shizhu has planned, sorted out, edited and published a large number of influential books, such as The Complete Works of China Law Books (18 volume), The Grand View of China Ancient Law Books (100 volume) and Selected Books of Ancient Inscription Calligraphy, with a cumulative circulation of10 million. In 2008, he won the 10th Taofen Publishing Award of the General Administration of Press and Publication.

In recent years, in order to carry forward China's traditional culture and attach importance to the development and training of young people, Su Shizhu submitted several proposals on promoting Chinese character culture and calligraphy education at the National People's Congress.

In 2009, at the third plenary session of the Second Session of the 11th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, he made a speech on "Strengthening Chinese Character Writing Education for Teenagers" on behalf of the painting and calligraphy room of the CPPCC.
