What is the major of agronomy

Agronomy is an undergraduate major in general higher education in China.

Agronomy focuses on basic knowledge and skills in crop production, crop genetic breeding, seed production, business management, etc., and carries out crop cultivation and farming, crop transgenic breeding, seed production and inspection, and processing and marketing of agricultural products.
