There are two kinds of guns that astronauts can really take into space. One is a TP-82 life-saving pistol. It is mainly used to survive if the landing site deviates after returning to Earth.

TP-82 pistol has three barrels, the upper two barrels have no rifling, firing 12.5 mm bullets, and the lower barrel has rifling, firing 5.45 mm rifle bullets, which is reduced. According to the different ammunition, these three barrels can fire flares, shotgun bullets and rifle bullets respectively. There is a detachable butt that can be turned into a machete or shovel. Because the barrel of the "space gun" is relatively long, when shooting, the gunman often holds the handle to pull the trigger with one hand and the middle of the barrel with the other. This gun is mainly used to disperse wild animals, kill small animals and launch signal flares to help astronauts overcome the harsh environment and wait for rescue.
