What's the difference between logging and geophysical prospecting?

Logging is a kind of mine geophysical exploration mentioned above and also a kind of geophysical exploration. It is a geophysical exploration method (so it is also called borehole geophysical exploration) that applies the traditional ground geophysical exploration method to borehole, which is used to divide the borehole strata, identify lithology (mainly using radioactive logging method), the occurrence of existing strata and the deviation of borehole (that is, whether the borehole is drilled in the predetermined direction) and so on. Accurately speaking, logging is a branch of geophysical exploration!
