What is a social group legal person?
Legal analysis: Generally speaking, social organizations can be divided into profit-making and non-profit. Social organizations as legal persons are social organizations that independently enjoy civil rights and undertake civil obligations according to law, and have the capacity of civil rights and civil conduct. Its purpose is to seek the common interests of members of society, mainly including: various political groups, mass organizations, social welfare groups, literary and artistic groups and academic research groups.
Legal basis: Paragraph 2 of Article 14 of the Trade Union Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that grass-roots trade unions shall obtain the legal person status of social organizations according to law if they meet the legal person requirements stipulated in the General Principles of Civil Law.
