The Italian Godfather is based on the true story of Peppino Impastato, a Sicilian political activist. He once boldly claimed to fight against the crimes of TanoBadalamenti, the head of the Mafia. Born in the seaside town of Cinisi, Sicilian PeppinoImpastato's family was inextricably linked to the Mafia, but he was more interested in the socialist spirit of the 1960s.
