History of Hardmans Cigarettes?

Hardgate cigarettes, a brand of cigarettes that almost no one knew about in the 1920s and 1930s, were a 10-count soft pack produced by British American Tobacco. Newspapers of the time claimed, "No one smokes Hardmans, everyone smokes Hardmans."
