Gundam and Transformers Difference

1. Operation: Gundam has an operator inside, usually a robotic tool, whereas Transformers are operated by lifeforms that are able to operate themselves.

2. Transformation ability: Gundam cannot transform and can only be equipped with weapons, while Transformers are able to transform, such as into cars, trucks, airplanes, and so on.

3. Appearance design: Gundam is usually a humanoid-like robot with two legs and two arms, and is able to move and transform freely, while Transformers are transformed based on the forms of various animals or machines.

4. Original background: Gundam and Transformers are two major robotics anime in Japan and the United States, respectively, and there is a huge difference between the two in the original background. Gundam is mainly set in the Three Years' War, and the plot takes place in the battle between the Earth and the universe. Transformers, on the other hand, is set in a relocation from an alien planet to Earth, and has always had some sort of connection to Earth.

5. Lines and exterior design: Gundam and Transformers also have very different robotic lines and exterior design styles. Gundam usually has tougher lines and designs, while Transformers usually have a more rounded and streamlined look.
