What are the categories of intangible cultural heritage in Guangdong?
China's intangible cultural heritage is divided into ten categories, namely: folklore, traditional music, traditional dance, traditional theater, opera, acrobatics and athletics, folk art, traditional handicrafts, traditional medicine, and folklore.
1, folklore
Folklore, also known as oral literature, is mainly produced and passed down in the folklore by word of mouth. Its forms are rich and varied, including myths, legends, folk tales, epics, long poems, ballads, folk jokes, folk proverbs, riddles, and hysterics. Representative folklore items in Guangdong include the Legend of the Five Rams, the Legend of Bao Gong, the Legend of the Southward Migration of the People of Zhugui Lane, and the Legend of the Immortal Goddess of Mercy and the Hanging of the Green.
2. Traditional Music

It is mainly produced and spread through oral creation. Regionality, flux, popularity and program are the main signs of folk music. The representative traditional music of Guangdong includes salty water songs, Hakka mountain songs, Huidong fishing songs, and Nantang blowing and beating music.
3. Traditional Dance
Traditional dance is a kind of traditional dance created by the laboring people and passed down from generation to generation, and performed in daily life, which is an important part of the national folk culture, including the dance of living customs, the dance of the yearly and seasonal customs, the dance of the life rituals, the dance of the religious beliefs, the dance of the production customs, and so on.

6. Traditional Sports, Amusement and Acrobatics
It includes traditional martial arts, traditional athletics, traditional sports, amusement, acrobatics, magic, circus, costume theater, comedy, etc. It has a deep tradition and a long history, and has a broad popular base. Traditional sports in Guangdong mainly include Cai Li Fo Quan, Taixu Quan, Hong Quan, Wing Chun Quan and Dragon Boat Racing.
