Difference between suspension stiffness and damping
When the vehicle is running, the impact force will be generated between the vehicle body and the ground due to unevenness. The deformation resistance of the spring can be adjusted by using the stiffness of the suspension, so as to change the distance between the vehicle chassis and the ground and ensure the normal work of the chassis electronic equipment.
Suspension damping is used to resist the vibration of vehicle body and frame, so as to improve the stability and comfort of vehicle driving. Suspension stiffness and damping are indispensable concepts in mechanical vibration, and their relationship is of great significance for the design, optimization and control of mechanical systems.
