Why is the Philippines a favorite place for divers to dive?

There's a good reason why the Philippines is a diver's paradise.

The first reason is that the Philippines has a very large number of beautiful islands, a whopping 7,107 islands, making it the second largest island nation in the world, and the second longest coastline in the world, which lays a foundation of natural conditions that make the Philippines a diver's paradise.

The second reason is that the Philippines is geographically well-located, and the climate conditions make most of the land suitable for diving in all seasons, but of course, different seasons should choose different dive sites in order to get a better experience.

The third reason is that the price of diving and surfing in the Philippines is relatively low, compared to Sri Lanka, Hainan Island, Hawaii and other similar dive bases, the price is more advantageous, thus attracting diving enthusiasts from all over the world to dive in this place.

The fourth reason is that the Philippines has a concentration of various types of more authoritative dive agency examination bases as well as dive agencies. For example, the National Association of Diving Instructors (NADI), the International Union of Scuba Diving Schools (IUSDS), the International Underwater Diving Federation (IUDF), the International Scuba Diving Association (ISDA), and all the well known international technical diving federations.

Another reason is that the Philippines', undersea ecosystem is better protected and survives a large number of marine shellfish species, about 1,200. And of the 500 known coral species in the world, the Philippines has 488 coral species. The Philippines is also known to attract a large number of divers as one of the joys of divers is to see the flora and fauna in the water.

Nevertheless, it is worth noting that scuba diving is a high-risk activity, and I have witnessed scuba divers being killed by fishing crews, so make sure you have a professional around to guide and protect you when you dive.
