How to treat frugality?

Diligence is self-cultivation, frugality is self-cultivation, and thrift is beauty. Diligence and thrift are the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. Vigorously carry forward the excellent tradition of thrift of the Chinese nation, vigorously publicize the idea of saving glory and wasting shame, and strive to make thrift and opposing waste become a common practice in the whole society. As contemporary college students, we should consciously shoulder the social responsibility of "practicing economy and opposing waste", establish a sense of thrift, start from bit by bit of daily life, work together with one heart and one mind to build a conservation-oriented campus and a conservation-oriented society! We suggest that:

First, save every grain of rice. It's hard to think about a porridge and a meal, but it's hard to keep thinking about it. Be proud of "CD", be ashamed of "leftovers", and insist that "there is not enough to eat, and there is more than enough every year".

Second, save every drop of water. Water is the source of life. Be proud of "saving water and using water reasonably" and ashamed of "wasting water". Always turn off the tap and don't use too much water for washing every day.

Third, save every kilowatt hour. Electricity is the light of civilization. We are proud of "saving electricity and using electricity reasonably" and ashamed of "wasting electricity". Don't forget to turn off the lights and all kinds of unused appliances before leaving the classroom, dormitory or going to bed at night. When natural light is available, let the light "sleep"; Use air conditioning reasonably in summer, and don't let the temperature be too low. Creating a low-carbon campus starts with saving electricity.

Fourth, save every piece of paper. A drop of water is gold and a piece of paper is silver. We are proud of "saving paper and using it reasonably" and ashamed of "wasting paper". If you can print on both sides, you won't print on one side; If it can be transmitted through the network, use less paper; If you can borrow books, you won't print them again; If a piece of paper can be reused and recycled, it will not cost more money for a piece of paper; If you can bring your own cups and chopsticks, you don't need disposable items.

Fifth, save every penny. No matter national wealth, campus property or family savings, every penny and everything is condensed with hard work and sweat. We are proud of "hard work, plain living and reasonable consumption" and ashamed of "extravagance and vanity", cherish every investment of the state in higher education and make good use of every penny.
