Guangzhou Urban Construction Archives, established in 1982, is a special-grade and national first-class urban construction archives in Guangdong Province, and has been awarded the honorary title of "National Advanced Collective in Urban Construction Archives Work" by the Ministry of Construction and the National Archives Bureau for many times. Our library is responsible for the management of the city's urban construction archives, the administrative management of the city's urban construction archives and the functions of supervision, inspection, reception, storage and utilization of the city's urban construction archives, and is the storage, utilization and information service center of the city's urban construction archives; It has a team of professional and technical personnel with diverse disciplines, wide specialties, high theoretical level and rich practical experience, including senior title 18, intermediate title 12, undergraduate degree of 26 and master degree or above 10, which provides strong intellectual support for the development of our library. There are more than 560,000 files, ranking among the best in the national urban construction archives.

The library pursues the purpose that archives serve the society and citizens. Since June 65438+ 10/day, 2004, the Municipal Planning Bureau has taken the initiative to disclose government information. It is the window for the Municipal Planning Bureau to serve the citizens, and its good service has been praised by the citizens many times. Our library actively innovates the file management mode, advocates "early intervention", enters the site, and provides all-round file services for key projects in provinces and cities. At present, there are more than ten key projects' file services, which have won universal praise from the society. The brand is getting louder and louder and the business is expanding. Our library has made great achievements in the collection, arrangement, development and utilization of historical archives. In addition to two publications, Urban Monsoon and Urban Construction Information, we also emphasized the awareness of "excellent products", launched a series of special exhibitions on urban construction, and completed Fifty Years of Urban Construction in Guangzhou-Selected Archives of Urban Construction, Panorama of the Pearl River and Memorabilia of Guangzhou University Town Construction.
