What is a small and micro enterprise

Small and micro enterprises are small enterprises, micro enterprises, family workshop enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households. The criteria for identifying small and micro enterprises in China are based on employees, operating income, total assets and other indicators, combined with specific industry characteristics. The standard is that the total assets of the enterprise are less than 50 million yuan, the number of employees is less than 300, and the taxable income is less than 3 million yuan. Meet the following three points can be divided into small and micro enterprises:

1, the total assets, industrial enterprises do not exceed 30 million yuan, other enterprises do not exceed100000 yuan;

2. The number of employees shall not exceed 100 in industrial enterprises and 80 in other enterprises;

3, tax indicators, the annual taxable income does not exceed 300 thousand yuan.

Legal basis:

Article 5 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises the State Council formulates policies to promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, establishes a coordination mechanism for the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises, and coordinates the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises nationwide.

The department in charge of promoting comprehensive management of small and medium-sized enterprises in the State Council organizes the implementation of policies to promote the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and conducts macro guidance, comprehensive coordination, supervision and inspection on the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The relevant departments of the State Council are responsible for promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises within the scope of their respective duties according to the national policies for promoting the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The local people's governments at or above the county level shall, according to the actual situation, establish a coordination mechanism for the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises, clarify the corresponding departments responsible for the comprehensive management of the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises, and be responsible for the promotion of small and medium-sized enterprises within their respective administrative areas.
