What does NBA mean?

NBA (American Professional Basketball) is the full name of the National Basketball Association.

NBA is an international sports and media group, which consists of three professional sports leagues: American Men's Professional Basketball League (NBA), American Women's Professional Basketball League (WNBA) and NBA Development League. Among them, NBA is the highest level basketball league in the world and one of the four major professional sports leagues in the United States.

Generally speaking, the NBA schedule is divided into regular season, playoffs and finals. The regular season adopts the home and away game system, and the playoffs and finals adopt the three wins and elimination system of seven games.

The NBA regular season begins on the first Tuesday of June 165438+ 10 and ends around April 20th of the following year. During this period, 30 teams will play 1 189 regular-season games, and each team will play 82 games, with half of the home and away games. The playoffs began in late April and the championship was decided in mid-June.

The NBA is divided into East and West leagues, and each league has three divisions. In the regular season, each team will play four games with teams in the same division, three or four games with teams in different divisions of the same league and two games with teams in another league. Each team plays against 29 other teams at home at least once a season.

The schedule of the regular season is rather tight. The team has three or four games a week, and each season has different degrees of "back-to-back" and continuous away games. There are two days of games in the regular season carefully arranged by the NBA, namely the first day of the opener and the Christmas War. In these two special days, the league often deliberately arranges the most popular stars to play against each other to attract the attention of the audience to the maximum extent.
