What does "posture" mean?
Body position refers to the position where the body should be during acupuncture treatment.
There are three types: sitting position, lying position and standing position, among which sitting position and lying position are commonly used, and standing position is easy to cause dizziness.
Clinically, it refers to the patient's body posture in the hospital bed or the body posture maintained during examination.
Classification of posture:
1. Basic posture: divided into active posture and forced posture. In clinic, forced posture is more common, that is, patients are forced to maintain a posture because of illness.
2. Common forced posture: flat position with pillow removed, concave position, semi-sitting position, sitting position, lateral position, head high and foot low, and head low and foot high.
3. supine position with pillow removed: it is commonly used in patients after spinal anesthesia to prevent headache caused by decreased intracranial pressure
4. foveal position: it is commonly used in shock patients to increase the amount of blood returned to the heart, and then increase cardiac output, so as to reduce the risk of shock.
5. Semi-sitting and lying position: it is common for patients with abdominal inflammation or abdominal surgery. The purpose of taking this position is to reduce the tension at the wound and relieve the pain.
6, sitting position; Common in patients with bronchial asthma, the purpose is to relieve dyspnea, because such patients will aggravate dyspnea when lying down.
7: lateral position: it is common for patients who need enema or anal and gastroscopy examination.
