What is the architectural style of Bali?

Bali is a famous Indonesian tourist area and an island in the lesser sunda islands to the east of Java. Due to the influence of Indian culture and religion in history, most residents in Bali believe in Hinduism, which is the only place in Indonesia that believes in Hinduism. But Hinduism here is different from Hinduism in India.

The architecture of Bali is not only impressive wood carvings, majestic stone gates and gorgeous Indian style carvings, but also has a strong symbol of spiritual belief.

Many temples, rice warehouses and other structures follow the traditional Balinese rules called Asta Kosala Kosali, which are traditionally recorded in palm books and translated by traditional architects called Undagi. These very unique buildings are all over the villages in Bali, which makes them integrate with the surrounding natural environment and run through them.

The most common feature of architecture in Bali is Bale, which covers the roof with thatch and has no walls, and is used as an open-air exhibition. Bell described the Hindu world in Bali. The roof is a part of God, the wall is a part of man, and the foundation is a part of the devil.
