Read the national classics of the feeling

Recently, we read a book-"Classics of National Education", from which I have a lot of feelings.

Filial piety-"All good things come first"

In Chinese Confucian culture, filial piety is especially advocated, "Out is filial piety, in is brotherly love." According to Confucius, filial piety is the fundamental morality of being a human being. Then how to go about filial piety to one's parents? Confucius once emphasized that the key to filial piety lies in being pleasant to one's face. "Color is difficult. When there is something, the disciple serves his labor; when there is wine and food, Mr. Zhuan has been thought to be hu." This sentence tells us that we should be pleasant in front of our parents and give them a taste of something good first. As a son of man, "When your parents are here, do not travel far." The idea of filial piety and obedience to parents is reflected in the "Rules of Discipleship" and other national schools of thought, and there are many examples of filial piety and obedience to parents in ancient times, such as Huang Xiang who warmed his father's seat, and Wang Xiang who "lay down on the ice to seek carp". As a young man in the 21st century, compared with the ancients, I feel inferior, but I will take the ancestors as a model, and constantly improve themselves.

Sincerity - "If you don't believe in what you say, you don't know what you can do."

"Sincerity is the always of things. Without sincerity, there is nothing." Meaning, everything in the world is based on sincerity as the trust, as the basis, and those who are not sincere lose everything. This is what reminds me of my dad. My dad is a businessman and has always been committed to the belief of "sincerity as the foundation". Once in business, dad if the second best, can be profiteering, but he did not do so, but said in a serious way: "we can not because of the momentary benefits, the immediate interests, and lost the real wealth - integrity. The book "National Classics" taught me a lot of reasoning for people as sons. Chinese culture has a long history and is profound and worthy of our study. The book "Chinese Classics" is a good book for primary and secondary school students to learn about Chinese culture.

The book is divided into three units: thrift, self-confidence, and wisdom, each of which consists of four parts: the essentials of the classics, stories, life, practice, and recitation of the classics. Not only are there quotations from famous authors, but there are also people and events that are close to life, as well as some popular works. Reading this book, not only let me know some of the reasons to be a man, the norms of behavior, and more let me understand the reason to apply these in life. For example, "it is easy to be frugal, but difficult to be frugal" is to warn us to be frugal in our daily life, not to be extravagant and wasteful. After studying the "Rules of Discipleship", I was particularly touched, because some of my own actions on a regular basis, so that I have a deeper understanding of the "Rules of Discipleship".
