Deeds about Yichang in Three Kingdoms Interpretation

1. The Battle of Yichang, also known as the Battle of Yiling, was an important battle between Shu Han and Dong Wu during the Three Kingdoms period. The battle took place in Yichang City, and is one of the famous battles in history in which the few won the many. According to the 83rd episode of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the battle started when Liu Bei, the first lord of Shu Han, went on a personal expedition to the Eastern Wu in order to avenge the death of Guan Yu, and fought against Lu Xun, a great general of the Eastern Wu, in a fierce battle. The battle was also one of Liu Bei's biggest military blunders, and was eventually defeated by Lu Xun's skillful use of tactics to defeat Shu Han with less.

2. The Battle of Changbanpo in Dangyang was an important battle between Shu Han and Cao Wei during the Three Kingdoms period. The battle took place at Changbanpo in the city of Dangyang, Yichang, the site of Zhao Zilong's single-rider rescue of his master.
