What festivals do you like?

I like three festivals, namely Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.

The reason why I like the Spring Festival is actually very simple. Like most people, I like nothing more than the lively atmosphere of the Spring Festival. As we all know, the Spring Festival symbolizes reunion, and our family is no exception. As the Spring Festival approaches, relatives who are away from home all rush back home, and everyone gets together to eat, drink and talk about family life, which is one of the reasons I like very much. Another reason is that during the Chinese New Year, the hometown dishes cooked by parents or grandparents will have a "home flavor" after eating, which I miss very much.

The reason why I like Lantern Festival is the custom in my hometown. Generally speaking, the traditional Lantern Festival is to hang lanterns, solve riddles on the lanterns on lanterns and eat glutinous rice balls, but the customs in my hometown not only have traditional practices, but also incorporate new elements. That is to hang lanterns for newborns and invite all directions to offer blessings to newborns. The reasons for liking Mid-Autumn Festival are similar to those for liking Spring Festival, but there are also differences. Similarly, I still like the Mid-Autumn Festival family reunion; The difference is that, according to my hometown, "if you don't put a pond in the Mid-Autumn Festival, the taste will be half less", in which "pond" refers to a fish pond. On our Mid-Autumn Festival, we usually let the water out of the fish pond and then go fishing. Whoever touches more fish symbolizes who is luckier and happier. In the evening, we will cook the caught fish together, and the family will eat together around the table and enjoy the moon and eat moon cakes together.

In fact, I like that these three festivals have something in common. They are lively and reunion. There are many festivals in China for reunion, but the customs in my hometown attach great importance to these three festivals, which makes me like them very much.
