Traditional food in Argentina
Argentines eat barbecue mainly with beef. Barbecue shops can be found everywhere in Buenos Aires, the capital, and other small towns in mainland China. Many families also have barbecue pits or mobile grills, and even some parks and forests in the suburbs have special barbecue grills. In front of a large barbecue restaurant downtown, there are black or brown beef specimens, which are lifelike. In the French window, there are dozens of pounds of beef next to the blooming flowers, which are worn by the barbecue chef? Gauchos? Our clothes: black felt hat, tight coat and embroidered breeches, with a red scarf around our necks. Some barbecue shops specially put the ovens in a conspicuous position, so that customers can listen to the sizzling sound and watch the red charcoal fire, and the taste is more delicious.
There are roughly two kinds of barbecues in restaurants. One is grilled steak, palm-sized and about a finger thick. The second is a barbecue similar to a platter. Roasted ribs, sausages, small intestine, blood sausage, kidney and thymus are placed on a rectangular stainless steel plate, and there are some red-hot charcoal on the lower bracket for insulation. Among them, thyme is the most precious, brown and crisp, with excellent taste. Do argentines like it? Tender? They say beef and steak are tender and close to raw meat, which is usually too much for China people, but they can ask for more cooked meat.
When eating roast beef, you can choose the seasoning according to your own taste. Such as: cold lettuce, tomatoes, onions, etc. It's greasy, and some people like to add potato chips and drink red wine while eating long bread. While the diners are waiting for their meal, the waiter will serve a barbecue jiaozi and an aperitif. If you treat guests at home, you should provide a piece of sausage bread before the barbecue dinner.
In Argentina, people often go to the countryside or forest parks for picnics and barbecues every holiday. Here, the grass is green, the trees cover the sky, the smoke fills the forest, and the laughter is endless. People like to eat barbecue, not only because it is delicious, but also because they feel the carefree rural atmosphere.
