The King of Saudi Arabia is the head of state of Saudi Arabia and the patriarch of the House of Saud. Biography of the current king

Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz, born in Riyadh in 1924, is the son of the former King Abdul Aziz and the son of the late King Abdul Aziz. Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz, born in Riyadh in 1924, is the son of former King Abdul Aziz and a half-brother of the late King Fahd. His mother is a descendant of the Shammar, the main nomadic tribe in the central Saudi province of Nezhi. As a youth, Abdullah received a systematic religious and military education.

Abdullah preferred to read and desert travel, was awarded a doctorate degree by the University of the Philippines. He greatly respected the Arab national culture, especially the unique cultural traditions of the Arabian Peninsula, and personally created the Arab equestrian team. Every spring, Saudi Arabia also organizes the "Ginadarya" cultural and artistic festival created by the King with strong national characteristics, which has become a major national and civic event. Abdullah is married and has six children.

Helping with earthquake relief
